In week 3, our team will concentrate on market validation to see whether there is a market for reviewing skincare. This allowed us to divide the assignment into two teams. The first group will begin by observing conversations or discussions on beauty communities and analysing some trends and challenges in the review business. The second team will develop survey scopes for most targeted consumers. On our Instagram story, we'll use an approach method that seems like a poll post. Our past experiences indicate that we could get more and quicker responses. This approach will increase our understanding of current industry pain areas and the perspectives of potential consumers. We also assign each team member a specific assignment to start reaching out to potential key stakeholders. Finding two individuals is necessary for actual reviews and two individuals for micro-influencers (who could be our friends). Future questions that the micro-influencers should be ready for include those about their skin types (dry, oily, combination, acne, etc.), how they would rate their product (1-5 stars for price, effectiveness, and overall), how they would describe the overall product or explanation in detail (lightweight, heavy cream, absorption, scents, etc.), and why they chose this brand. Before giving the same products to new participants with different skin types, observe the before and after (without makeup + makeup) follow-up from 14 days to 1 month. In order to prevent a biassed evaluation, we will choose 1-2 people that have the same skin type for the evaluation.
