We have produced our first primary packaging for our shampoo tablets over the past week by estimated the dimension to be 5x5 cm wide. However, after drafts of sizes and styles, we found out that it can only contain up to 10 shampoo tablets. As a result, we must modify the box to be larger. Additionally, we discovered that the design does not truly match the size due to the low visibility of the fonts and key messages. Therefore , we must change the size to ensure that the users receive a clear message.
Regarding the marketing side, we worked to increase the amount of content we posted on social media as we began to see progress with our Instagram account. In order to expand the audience for our social media posts over the next three months, we are now planning more content. By far, our strategy is to provide a clear message about the inspiration for the creation of AESTE.
More during the week, we researched into the literal possibility of coloring our shampoo. With the resources at hand, we've discovered that our team is unable to perform it right now. The findings are listed below.
Powders produced with maltodextrin have a consistent color, a low moisture content, and a low hygroscopicity. This is demonstrated by the research samples that it gives more intensely preserved the color than those without maltodextrin.
The spray dryer machine is challenging to increase the stability of the color at the same time with reducing the energy consumption.
The color's low stability and brightness are impacted by exposure to light, temperature, pH, and other factors.
It is possible to improve color fastness and stability by combining copigmentation additives with the right spray dryer configuration. By adopting the copigmentation technique, natural colours' stability and brightness can be increased.
As the color stability will be extremely sensitive to temperature and light exposure, the spray dryer process needs to keep an eye on the impact of the liquid flow velocity as well as the inlet temperature.
Another drying process used to create colored powders is made from liquid or extracted wood extracts, which is then sprayed with gas to make it appear like steam or can be called fogging.
The physical features of the material, the state of the nozzle, the temperature of the intake and output, the solvent, and other parameters all have an impact on the spray dryer process' powder.
