Our team met with a professor from Kasetsart University this week to discuss about our product and the spray drying machine. She also recommended the freeze dry machine as an alternative, which is available at Mahidol University (Salaya). When temperatures are below zero, the freeze dry uses the sublimation principle. This machine has the ability to control the specification and quality of natural extracts.

There are 2 freeze dry machines available now at Mahidol University and Kasetsart University. At Mahidol University, employing freeze dry costs roughly 40 baht per hour and 3,000 baht for machine opening. We will need to have more discussion as a team regarding the location we want to use.

Moreover, the professor at Kasetsart University suggested that we should check to see whether our shampoo has the necessary characteristics  as the shampoo must serve its intended purpose. She advised that we contact with Manose Health and Beauty Research Center, a company that conducts tests on extracts and cosmetics, and have them evaluate our shampoo. To determine what we want to test, we must examine our ingredients and extracts.
