  • Our team had scheduled a meeting with p Ronnie and p James to discuss the situation because the spray dryer machine we usually use is not operational due to a mechanical malfunction. Our team decided to look for another location to borrow the machine after discussing it with p Ronnie and p James during this week's meeting. By the time we tried to do additional study for a few days, James had also gotten in touch with a professor from Kasetsart University he knew to inquire about whether they had the machine we needed and whether we could borrow it. She ultimately responded positively, and we are currently in the process of going over through the details with her.

  • This week, our team began implementing the content plan for our Instagram account that was suggested by our mentor. We also had discussions about it with P Ronnie and our mentor. Our current approach is to begin with educational content that address the waste produced by shampoo bottles and issues associated with using non-organic shampoo. The relevant statistics from our research and interaction posts would be included. Then we will begin narrating to them the background of AESTE as a story. Additionally, in order to ensure that our Instagram account is conveying the message using the same theme as our product story, we create a moodboard. Due to this moodboard, our Instagram postings would display a more attractive, natural aesthetic. We also design a poster to reflect our brand identity and serve as a reminder of our goals and core values.

  • When the spray drying machine couldn't be used for a while, our team decided to come up with a plan B that involved integrating what we had learned in food and drug class with our project. Our liquid shampoo, together with Sodium alginate and Calcium chloride, are required constituents. Regarding the procedure, we need to mix sodium alginate with our liquid shampoo. Subsequently, drop the mixture in the shape we want to in calcium chloride for however long was necessary (will need to see how long will be the perfect time). The texture of the exterior of our shampoo tablet will be determined by this procedure using calcium chloride. Even if it is our plan B, our team needs to further examine the likelihood that it will succeed and conduct a trial to determine whether it will work or not.

  • The TOW matrix must be updated, a marketing plan must be developed, pricing have to be set, and our team should be prepared to produce a new batch of our product by the end of the next week. All members of the team will divide the task into three subgroups.
