In Thailand, more than 60% of students are still questioning themself about their career path. These days, students do not know what jobs they want to do and some are not confident in their decisions. Most concerned, many of them don’t have the opportunity to access the information about the jobs which leads to study without knowing deeply about that job. Eventually, they drop out because it’s not what they thought it would be. In the end, this will lead to unemployment, depression, and low self-esteem.

“Gaia” is a business that provides workshops to help students mainly grade 9 to 12 know themselves before choosing their future career path, give them the opportunities to experience the real job field as well as the real experience of their interest career, and help both the students and the companies or organizations build connections. All of these will help them to choose the right path in the future and boost their confidence. Most importantly, to reduce the unemployment rate and inequality in the opportunity to access various job experiences.

During the workshop, each student will have to choose the course they desire to complete. Gaia comes up with 3 courses including The Ultimate, Pathway, and Light yourself. Firstly, the Ultimate course is the course that suits students who want to gain the deepest knowledge and experience of each job along with having their own mentor. Secondly, the Pathway course is for ones who want to experience real-life working in a specific job. The last course, Light yourself, suits students who don’t know what field of job they are interested in and need guidance on what they’re good at and should focus on. Light Yourself and Pathway take 5 days whereas the Ultimate takes 7 days to complete the program.

To attend this program, the student needs to register through their school or by themselves. After that, selected students will have to do a self-evaluation test in order for the program to match up students and companies that correspond with each other according to the self evaluation test. Before students will experience the real process of their chosen workshop during the program, we will be teaching them the basic knowledge that will be required during the program. All of these will make the students have an opportunity to take part in the company’s project or work. After the program ends, the students can submit their resumes to the company for their future careers as a record.

For the financial analysis, we expect to gain profit from the first 2 to 4 years as our business is brand new and outstanding in the market. In the future, we might attract more customers but not as much as the first 2 to 4 years due to more competitors entering the market. In year 5, we predict that we will be 3 times more profitable than the first year. However, this is only a preliminary projection, we still need to look deeply into the feedback and media reach.

Our team came up with the white ocean strategy. The implementation of this strategy will lead Gaia to gain a good reputation and increase brand awareness. This is to fill a gap in the educational market which believes that the work is going to turn out well established and greatly help students find themselves faster and easier.
